What is That Cat Saying

Wednesday, October 29 - Noon - 2:00 p.m.

Join us at HSW for a presentation about what a cat's body language is trying to tell us.  We need to learn how to "think like a cat" to understand them.  Our host will be Mei Mei Brown, coordinator of HSW's Feral Cat Assistance Program.  For just $20 you will have a delicious lunch, learn more about your cats and feral (wild) cats.  Proceeds from this event will benefit the TNR (spay/neuter) of feral and unowned cats in our community.   Please register by Monday, October 27 by calling the Shelter at 928-684-8801.

Give a Senior Cat or Dog a Second Chance

Take a few minutes to view a wonderful video filmed at our shelter a few years ago by Barbara and David Gross.  It stars many former and current volunteers of HSW.  As you watch the video please remember that we are a "no-kill" shelter.    The age of a pet is but a number, - just as it is for humans.  Don't let an animal's "older" age deter you from opening your heart to your new best friend.

Wish List for the Shelter - Please check out "Helping Us" and our Wish List page found under that heading.  If you would like to purchase items to help us at the Shelter.  Any and all of those items are needed on a regular basis.  Thank you in advance for your consideration.
